After the announcement of Intermediate results of Bihar Board 2017, Lalit Narayan Mithila University Darbhanga announced the date of Online Registration for UG Session 2017-20. Though the results were very disappointing and the scrutiny process was going on, it was announced to be started on 16th June 2017 and was scheduled to be closed on 30th June 2017. (Extended to 10th July 2017 Later).
As per the current schedule, the Online Application is to be closed 10th July 2017 and after that, all we have to wait for is the LNMU 1st Part Merit List 2017 of various UG Programmes such as B.A, B.Com, B.SC etc.
LNMU University offers 21 undergraduate programs (Hons./General) under faculties of Science, Commerce, Arts etc. through their 43 constituent and 22 affiliated colleges of 4 districts of Bihar namely Darbhanga, Madhubani, Samastipur, and Begusrarai. University has also shared a list of different courses offered by colleges under LNMU, Darbhanga and you can download it by clicking here.
As you all know University launched their online web portal for all the Admissions and Registrations of Degree Programmes last year and it's really helpful for students as they don't have to stand in the long queues in colleges.
Since last year, University accepts the online application for all the Graduation level admissions and registration. No offline mode or any other alternate option is available. You will have to fill the online application for admission in which you can choose up to 5 colleges of your choice.
After that according to your marks and seat availability, you will be selected for a particular college of your choice and preferences.
Update: So, the online application process is over and University has removed the option to create any new accounts on their official web portal. Now, all we have to wait is for the college wise list of students. Normally, it will take at least 5-7 days to publish it on the site. Till then, have patience!
University hasn't extended the online application date yet. A lot of students are still there who didn't apply online for various reasons. Students who were not able to apply online for any reason will have to wait for another update from univeristy.
Update (20 July 2017) - According to local newspapers, LNMU Darbhnaga will probably publish the admission cum merit list today. It's been 10 exactly 10 days since the online application was closed on 10th of July. We will publish this post once it will be published. Hold on!
Update (22 July, 2017) - Hurray. LNMU Part 1 First Provisional Admission List is Now Published. University has finally Released the Merit List. You can download the full merit list in PDF format

This year, University has uploaded all the lists of all of their colleges in a single list of huge 6000+ pages. You can download it to check your name easily else you will have issues because of long list. This year, 'Waiting' list is introduced by LNMU. That means a Student can wait for his/her admission in a particular college in case his/her name isn't available in that college. According to the vacant seats, waiting students may get admission. It's not official, just the rumors. Till now, no one can say about the Part 1 second merit list.
Update (25 July, 2017) - Another update folks. Those who are having issues with checking their name in the list of colleges can check now via seperate college list. University has finally uploaded college wise list Degree 1 Merit List 2017. Excel sheet and PDF format of every college is now available on the official web portal and now can be checked damn easily.

- After creating your ID Password, note it down for future references. You may need it later.
- To choose a subject as honors, you must need 45% marks in that particular subject in 12th in case you have not changed your faculty.
- In case you are changing your faculty, a total percentage of 45% of your obtained marks in 12th is compulsory.
- This year, editing (update) of online application is available after completing all the steps.
